Images are not resizing
What to check when Goodnews thumbnails are missing, blurred or the wrong size.
Goodnews generates its own set of image sizes — for post grids, sliders, portfolio items, and more — whenever you upload a new image. If thumbnails are missing, stretched, or the wrong size, it is almost always one of two causes.
Images uploaded before you activated Goodnews, or before a theme update
WordPress only generates a theme's registered image sizes for images uploaded after the theme (and its sizes) are active. Images already in your media library from before will not have Goodnews's sizes until you regenerate them.
Fix: install and run the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin from the WordPress plugin directory. It rebuilds every registered size for every image already in your media library.
A missing or unusually small source image
If the original image you uploaded is smaller than the size Goodnews is trying to display, WordPress cannot generate a larger thumbnail from it — it will either be skipped or shown at a lower resolution than the layout expects.
Fix: upload a larger source image. As a guide, an image close to 1600×900 pixels comfortably covers Goodnews's largest registered sizes.
